PEP lining, our "Profile Enhancing Panel" engages and lifts you. Put your "package" thru the elasticized "O" ring and enjoy your new profile. There is no lining to hide you in front. PRO lining is a soft and fluffy fleece/lycra lining that fills the pouch area. The pouch always looks "filled". Not for swimming as this lining will absorb water and takes a while to dry.

Why doesn't Skinz have a 800 phone number ?

We prefer e-mail. You have a record of your communication, and you can communicate on your own time zone. We respond to emails Monday through Saturday. We have customers all over the world. If Skinz had to pay for all of the long distances phone calls, our prices would be considerably higher. If you have a SKYPE account, we can arrange for a SKYPE call assuming you are willing to call us during our operational hours.

How do I find matching suits for me and my husband or wife?

Matching suits will use the same color/fabric code. The color/fabric code is a 4 digit number after the style and lining codes. You can review all our fabric codes by clicking on the Fabrics category in the left panel. All you need to do is type this 4 digit code in the product search box (top left) and all items (men's and women's) that use that fabric will pop up.

What is the difference between Lycra, Spandex and Elastane?

LYCRA® is DuPont's brand of elastane, or spandex. The word "spandex" is used only in the United States while "elastane" is recognized worldwide, so we tend to use the more widely known term LYCRA® elastane fiber manufactured by DuPont does not contain any natural latex or rubber.

Spandex, Lycra or elastane is a synthetic fiber known for its exceptional elasticity. It is stronger and more durable than natural rubber. It is a polyester-polyurethane copolymer that was invented in 1958 by chemist Joseph Shivers at DuPont's Benger Laboratory in Waynesboro, Virginia.

Better known as spandex, elastane is a type of synthetic fiber made from at least 85 percent polyurethane polymers. The exact method used to make Lycra, Dorlastan, Elaspan, Acepora and other brands of elastane fabric is a closely guarded secret.
